It’s
obvious; today, the pace of change is overwhelming. If organizations
are to survive in a constantly changing marketplace, adapting immediately
to change becomes a business imperative. But human beings, and the
organizations they work in, naturally resist change.
New
live drama...ACT ON IT
In
2001, working in partnership with Lee Hecht Harrison and Ability
Corp, we developed an eye-opening awareness program on change called
“Act On It.” “Act On It” is set in a hi-tech
corporation undergoing constant change. Everyone is hunkered down
in their silos, blaming each other for miscommunication, missed
opportunities and deadlines, and high turnover of senior staff.
But take heart: since the topic is somewhat depressing, we decided
to make “Act On It” a rollicking comedy. It’s
been consistently called “the funniest show in our repertoire.”
And the “perfect antidote to what ails you about change.”
As always, our expert facilitator debriefs the show focusing on
the issues of your choice. Then the actors return to the stage “in
character,” to respond to questions and comments from the
audience; a session some have likened to the Jerry Springer Show
without the foul language or throwing of chairs. This program has
been used by The Titan Corp, SAIC, QUALCOMM and Ericsson among many
others.
