Donna
Orlando: Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Donna co-founded Orlando-Ward & Associates with Gregg Ward in
1997 and has an extensive background in using live, professional theater
as a workplace training tool. As Co-Founder, Donna is one of the primary
members of the Orlando-Ward & Associates creative team, performs
in Orlando-Ward & Associates’ training programs and serves
as the administrative head of the organization. She began her work
in the field in 1986 as a specialist trainer for the NYPD. She has
also enjoyed a successful career as a professional actor and director
in New York, London and in the Edinburgh International Festival of
The Arts. She has toured the UK numerous times in leading roles including
‘Night, Mother,’ ‘Desire Under The Elms,”
and Arthur Miller’s Two Way Mirror. Her direction of the site-specific
comedy Table for Two won her a prestigious Capital Award in the Edinburgh
International Festival of the Arts in 1990. While living in the United
Kingdom, Donna also founded The Arts Connexion, a professional performing
arts training school for adults at which she taught acting and singing
for several years. Donna is also the Executive Editor of the publishing
company Winding Creek Press and a member of The National Organization
of Female Executives.
